Patricia Amos of New Britain, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the age of 48. Born in Greenville, MS on Dec. 23, 1958, she graduated from Riverside High School in 1976 and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Park College in Parkville, MO. Patricia was a US Air Force veteran, having served in the Air Force for 12 years. She was employed as a revenue examiner at the CT Department of Revenue Services and was a member of the CCARC Board of Directors. Surviving are her mother, Charlesetta Jones Amos of New Britain; her daughter, Charlesetta P. Amos of Brandon, FL; four sisters, Zelda Amos of Greenville, MS; Geraldine Asres and her husband Anetnhe of East Granby, Nancy Amos and Altha Amos, both of New Britain; five brothers, Kenneth Amos and wife Brenda Amos of Greenville, MS, James Amos Jr. of New Britain, Darron Amos and wife Carolyn Amos of Greenville, MS, Danny Amos and his wife Stacee of Phoenix, AZ, and Samuel Amos of New Britain. Patricia is survived by her beloved Godchildren, Ashley Asres, Angela Asres, Shanice Bowen, Ashton Asres, Mike Wilkerson, Mitchell Wilkerson, Mark Wilkerson, Tarin Lewis, Delmore Lewis Jr., Kalem Lewis as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial services will be held Thursday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethesda Apostolic Church, 249 Stanley Street, New Britain. Calling hours will be held privately at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
