Patrese Bielinski (Patricia Valitsky), 56, of Berlin, passed away unexpectedly on October 23rd, 2017. Patrese was born and lived in New Britain and while there, worked as an advocate for individuals with disabilities, and strived to enrich and liberate them as human beings.
She was a compassionate woman who worked tirelessly for those less fortunate. She enjoyed times with her family spent: dancing at the Shell, visiting Martha Hart Pond, sledding at Walnut Hill, and especially her “dumpster diving” adventures. In 2005, the family moved to Berlin, where she fulfilled her dream of living on a country farm. Patrese and her husband, Steven, started the “7 From Heaven Farm” where her family raised chickens and goats and enjoyed fresh eggs and goat milk soap.
She will be remembered in our hearts for her strength, determination, compassion, faith in humanity, love of God and her family. She is now reunited with her father Joseph Valitsky Sr. and is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Steven Bielinski III; her four children: Monique Jones Pelletier and her husband Eric; Steven IV, Adam, and Noah Bielinski; her three siblings: Joseph Valitsky Jr. and his wife Lorna, Dawn Beaumier and her husband Rob, Victoria Harris and her husband Richard; and her two grandchildren, Faith and Jordon Jones, as well as numerous nieces and nephews that loved and adored her. Patrese will always be in our hearts and she will always be missed.
Her life will be celebrated on Monday, October 30th at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main Street, New Britain, CT. Calling hours are 6pm -7pm, followed by a memorial service beginning at 7pm.
