Pantelis Vastakis

Pantelis Vastakis, 80, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in Evrytania, Greece, he was the son of Stavros and Maria Vastakis. Every year, Pantelis loved visiting and spending time in his village, Doliana.  He was a New Britain resident for over 50 years and was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Maria Vastakis; a son, Steven Vastakis, both of Berlin; two brothers, Aristidis Vastakis of New Britain and Angelo Vastakis and his wife Mary of New York; a nephew, Steven Vastakis of New York; and other nieces and nephews in Greece.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in New Britain.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
