Osvaldo Cruz

Osvaldo Cruz, 49, of New Britain, died Monday, April 1, 2002 at New Britain General Hospital. Born in Puerto Rico, he was a former Hartford resident and a resident of New Britain for the past 15 years. Surviving are his wife, Noemi Torres Cruz; two sons, Osvaldo Cruz, Jr. and Vladimir Cruz, both of New Britain; two daughters, Noemi Cruz and Jennifer Cruz, both of New Britain; five brothers, Jose A. Colon, Angel Cruz, and Tomas Cruz, all of Hartford, Pedro Cruz of Meriden and Oberto Cruz of Puerto Rico; and a sister, Migdalia Cruz of Puerto Rico; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
