Omar Zuniga

Omar Zuniga, 30, of New Britain, died Thursday, Mar. 23, 2006 at home after a long illness. Born in Passaic, NJ, he was a resident of New Britain for 26 years. Omar was formerly employed at Mass Mutual and was a member of St. Mary Church, where he was a catechism teacher. Surviving are his parents, Manuel and Graciela Zuniga of New Britain, a brother, Eric Zuniga of New Britain; and many friends Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. Calling hours are Sunday evening from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
