Olga Hudyma Skinger, 62, of Plainville, wife of Wallace Skinger, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 11, 2009. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late John and Natalie Luciw Hudyma. She was a former New Britain resident and a resident of Plainville since 1991. She was employed at Automatic TLC in East Hartford and was a member of St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in New Britain. Surviving are her husband, Wallace Skinger; a daughter, Laurie Skinger of Plainville; a brother Nick Hudyma and his wife Evelyn of New Britain; two nephews, Nick and James, two cousins, Anna Luciw and John Luciw; and an aunt, Mary Luciw. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Glastonbury. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home with a Panakhuda Service to be conducted at 7:00 PM.
