Norma Iris Rosado

Norma Iris Rosado, 53, of New Britain, beloved wife of Francisco P. Rosado, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the home of her mother, Felicita Cotto. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was a New Britain resident most of her life and was employed as a manager at the Friendship Center. She was a member of St. Mary Church. Surviving are her husband, Francisco Rosado, three sons, Francisco Rosado Jr. and his wife Michelle, Stevan Rosado and his wife Franca, Billy Rosado and his wife Angela, all of New Britain; her mother, Felicita Cotto ; a sister, Alicia Ortiz of Bristol, her sisters-in-law Maria Rosado and Isa Rosado; a brother-in-law, Peter Rosado; 2 nephews, Richard Sanchez and Daniel Sanchez; a niece Yolanda Sanchez; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church. Calling hours are Friday from 6-8 PM.
