Norma E. Meleschnig

Norma E. Meleschnig, 81, of Waterbury, wife of Rev. Frank J. Meleschnig, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 at home.

Born in Ware, MA, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Ethel (Henderson) Kemner.  Norma was formerly employed as a teacher with the Naugatuck Public School System.  She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Thomaston and was active in many church activities throughout her life.

Surviving are her husband, Rev. Frank J. Meleschnig; five children, Lydia Smith and her husband Jesse of Harwinton, Priscilla Meleschnig of Berlin, Peter Meleschnig and his wife Terri of Naugatuck, Maria Meleschnig and her partner Nancy of South Kingston, RI, and Paul Meleschnig of New York, NY; a sister, Barbara Lutz of Tampa FL; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ledoux and her husband Robert; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Meghan, Joseph, and Erin; a niece, Kathy Holiday of VA; and two nephews, Carl Klemmer of NJ and Byron Lutz of Tampa FL.
