Norma Elizabeth Greene

Norma Elizabeth Greene, 86, of New Britain, died on her birthday, March 21, 2002 in Edison, NJ. She was the widow of Hiram Greene who died in 1998. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lena Zehrer Dolan. She was a New Britain resident most of her life and was formerly employed at American Savings Bank, retiring as a Financial Supervisor. She was a long-time member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Oswald of Edison, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Meryl Greene of Cherry Hill, NJ; a sister, Peggy Perry of Clinton, CT; eight grandchildren, Sharon, David, Laura, Peter, Scott, Lisa, Dawn, and Michael; three great- grandchildren, Jace, Makenna, and Hannah; a niece Betsy, a nephew Douglas, a cousin Budde, and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 6-8 PM.
