Nitza Rodriguez

Nitza Rodriguez, 78, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 7, 2024. Daughter of the late Julia Cruz and Juan Castillo.

Nitza worked and retired from Honeywell and Parker. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and was the firecracker of the family. Nitza will be deeply missed by all.

Nitza is a loving mother, grandmother and sister she is survived by her children: Marilyn and her husband Raymond Cancel, Ana Rodriguez,Gladys Rodriguez and Obdulio Rodriguez Jr. Nitza was predeceased by her son Hector Rodriguez. Nitza cherished her siblings. Nitza held a unique and special bond with her 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Calling hours and funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain.
