Nelson Pabe, Sr.

Nelson Pabe Sr., 53, of Manchester, and formerly of New Britain, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Manchester Hospital. He was born May 9, 1959 in Jersey City, NJ and was an avid Cowboys fan. Surviving are a son, Nelson Pabe Jr.; three daughters, Mia Pabe, Nicole Welgoss, and Tywonda Roach; his mother and step father, Lola Alicea and Jose Miguel Alicea; five sisters, Rosa Pabe, Maryann Pabe Martinez, Lisa Pabe Martinez, Yvonne Michele Pabe, and Janet Alicea-Batts; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Arturo Pabe. Funeral services and calling hours will be held Monday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Memorial donations may be made to the family, c/o the funeral home.
