Nelson Rolon

Nelson Rolon, 63, passed away on April 14, 2023 surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Alice (Ali), son Nelson Anthony Rolon and daughter-in-law Tess Dudek-Rolon; nieces Genia, Evelyn, and Nicole; his brother Edwin Rolon, many other family and friends and his best friend, rescue dog Bruno. He was predeceased by his parents Iris and Moises Rolon, and his brother, Moises Rolon, Jr.

Nelson was a machinist by trade, and worked at Pratt & Whitney for more than 30 years. His son Nelson has followed his father’s footsteps into the same industry.

Nelson was a native New Yorker. He loved the New York Yankees, and the New York Jets. He had a knack for growing tomatoes, and loved a sunny day where he could find a spot to fish. Nelson will be remembered for his kindness, his love and respect for all people, and his charming smile (and those dimples!). His family will miss his quiet and gentle presence in their lives.

Nelson’s family wishes to thank the many healthcare workers who cared for him throughout the end of his life.
