Nelson Algarin

Nelson Algarin, 53, of Colchester, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown.

Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Julio Algarin and Blanca Virella.  Nelson was a New Britain resident most of his life and was formerly employed as an Armored Security Operation Manager. He was a member of the Camaro Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Alexis Algarin; a son, Nelson Anthony Algarin Jr.; his fiancée, Jennifer Purdell; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be private.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
