Natividad Lozada

Natividad Lozada, 82, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Caugas, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Juan Lozada Perez and Isabel Lebron.  Natividad was formerly employed at General Electric Co. for 25 years and was a member of St. Mary Church.

Surviving are her companion, Hector Guzman; two sons, Ramon Cancel and his wife Marilyn, and Dionisio Irrizary; many brothers and sisters, including Rosa Zapata, Ado Zapata, Anjelina Lozada, Johnny Lozada, Luis Lozada, Elisa Lozada, Amelia Ortiz, and Leonardo Ortiz; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Adrian Cancel, and by her siblings, Jesus Lozada, Trifornia Lozada, Gloria Lozada, and Carmen Lozada.

Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-6 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
