Natalie Virginia Moulthrop, 96, of New Britain, died peacefully at home on Monday, January 22, 2007. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late William and Amy Dressel Moulthrop. She was a life-long New Britain resident. Natalie graduated in the first class of the Moody Secretarial School and attended the Teachers College, now CCSU. She retired from Holbrook Company after 39 years as office manager, and retired at the age of 89 after 32 years at Creed Monarch, Inc. She was a member of the South Congregational Church, the Salvation Army Auxiliary, and was active as a Girl Scout leader in her younger days. Surviving are a cousin, David Vogel and his wife Margaret of New York, and their three daughters, her Godchild Christine Vogel Kleinhenz, her husband Marc, and their three children, William, Elena, and Richard; Pamela Vogel Nichols, her husband Kevin, and their children, Alex and Grace, all whom reside in New York state; and Debra Vogel Ronca, her husband Nicholas and their children, Jennifer, David, and Jason. Also surviving are several dear friends and caregivers, MaryBeth Frederick, and her children, Erin and Evan; Deborah Boynton and her husband John Stephenson, and Deborah Kraczkowsky. She was predeceased by her dear cousin, Richard Vogel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.
