Nancy Zoccoli, 86, of New Britain, widow of Pasquale Zoccoli, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at the Hospital of Central CT in Southington. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Giliberto) Spano. She was a lifelong New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Stanley Tool. Nancy was a member of St. Ann's Church, the New Britain Senior Center, St. Anthony's Association, the AARP, and the Red Hat Society. Surviving are three children, Esther Luksas and her husband Peter of Terryville, Donna Manulla and her husband Richard of Plantsville, and Richard S. Zoccoli and his wife Kathy of Terryville; three sisters, Catherine Spano, Angie Russo, and Flo Dezi, all of New Britain; a brother, Richard Spano of Plainville; three sisters in law, Lori Spano of New Britain, Ada Zoccoli of Bristol, and Enid Zoccoli of Plainville; three grandchildren, Kristofer Manulla, Jennifer Zoccoli, and Richard P. Zoccoli; her caregiver, Gloria Porter; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Patrick Zoccoli, and a brother, Anthony Spano. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Ann's Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
