Nancy R. Circo Simoneau, 83, of New Britain, widow of Aime H. Simoneau, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Hospital of Central CT at New Britain General. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Concetta Piccotta Circo. Nancy was formerly employed at American Savings Bank retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and the Missionary Group at School II Apartments. Surviving are three sons, Gary Simoneau and his wife Eydie of Cromwell, Marty Simoneau and his wife Carol of Breezy, NY, David Simoneau and his wife Terry of Peachtree City, GA; two daughters, Jeanie Simoneau of Cromwell and Cheryl Bezrutczyk and her husband David of Bristol; a sister, Maryann Rashaw and her husband Warren of Newington; twelve grandchildren, Michael, Nichole, Michelle, Jason, Billy, Jaclyn, Alison, Kari, Heather, Jonah, Emily, and Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, and Paityn; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her special cousin, Joan DeRosa, who was like a sister to Nancy. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
