Nancy Mary Briganti

Nancy Mary Coco Briganti, 83, of New Britain, died peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2005 at Hartford Hospital. She was the widow of Sebastian Briganti. Born in New Britain, she was a life-long resident. She was the former co-owner of Nan's Fine Foods in New Britain, and was later employed with the Boy Scouts and in the City of New Britain Tax Collector's Office before retiring. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James and Susan Briganti of Newington; three special grandchildren, Christine Briganti, Kevin Briganti, and Nicholas Briganti; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday today from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church 195 S. Main St., New Britain, CT 06051.
