Montaye Mitchell

Montaye Mitchell, 44, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021.  Born in New Britain, he was a New Britain resident most of his life.  He was employed by Amazon.

Surviving are two daughters, Montaja Mitchell and Mya Mitchell; two sisters, Chimere Mitchell and Kenitra Johnson, two grandchildren, Jayden and Mia; several aunts, uncles and cousins, his best friend, Manny; including a special cousin, Eddie.

A Home Going Celebration will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. A calling hour will be from 10am until the time of the service at 11am. Masks and social distancing will be required.
