Monica Cancel

Monica Cancel, 81, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. She was born on May 4, 1938 in Gurabo, PR and has been a resident of New Britain, CT since 1969.

Monica was predeceased by her husband, Ramon Cancel. She is survived by her three daughters, Edna Almodovar, Ivelia Castro and Cathy Israel, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, October, 21, 2019 at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home in New Britain, followed by 11 a.m. Mass St. Mary’s Church. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
