Celebrating the Life of Moenisha Yvette Collins
May 31, 1996 - Dec. 01, 2023
The beautiful Moenisha Yvette Collins was born on May 31, 1996 in Manhattan, New York in Metropolitan hospital . She was tragically taken from us on December 1, 2023 in New Britain, CT. She was just 27 years old. Moenisha was the youngest girl of the 5 siblings born to James and Jacqueline Collins. Her siblings names are Monique Collins, Jessica Harris, Justina Collins, and James Collins III. On December 16th, 2012 Moenisha & Steven Gorham welcomed their only child Makayla La’Shay Collins into this world. Moenisha was such a wonderful mother. Makayla was Moenisha’s entire world. She loved being Makayla’s mother more than anything in this world. At about 9 years old Moenisha became a member of Right Now Ministries, where she began her walk and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Moenisha attended Washington High School located in Washington, NC and received her high school diploma in 2014. Momo was best known for just being unapologetically her. She loved deep intimate conversations about life. Momo always pushed others to be the best version of themselves. Moenisha was sassy but sweet, strong yet gentle. She enjoyed being in her own space, Momo was truly an introvert who showed love in an extraordinary way. She will forever be missed by her family, friends & loved ones. Most especially by her cousin Janelle Williams. Her besties Evelyn Garcia, Quisha Cannon, and Travia Hibbert who all loved Moenisha like a sister. As well as the entire Right Now Ministries family, May this beautiful soul rest in heavenly peace
