Miriam A. Meyer

Miriam A. Meyer, 79, of Kensington, passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014. She was the wife of Charles Meyer. Born in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Donella (Roberts) Warner. Miriam was a former resident of Windsor Locks and a Kensington resident for the past 58 years. She was employed at the Berlin Visiting Nurses Association before retiring and was a member of the Kensington United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Charles Meyer; a son, James Meyer and his wife Kimberly of East Haddam; a brother, Donald Warner of Windsor Locks; a sister, Fay Bushnell of Houston, TX; and two granddaughters, Kayleigh Meyer and Lyndsey Meyer. Miriam was predeceased by a sister, Janet Hadden, and by a brother, Allen Warner. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27 at 12 noon at South Burying Ground in Kensington. Erickson-Hansen Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kensington United Methodist Church, 103 Hotchkiss St., Kensington, CT 06037.
