Miguel Angel Valentin

Miguel Angel Valentin, 78, of Kensington, died Friday at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General. He was the beloved husband of Blanca Mercado Valentin. Born in Moca, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Felix and Felicita Rodriguez Valentin. Miguel was a machinist at Emhart for many years. He was a member of St. Mary Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Miguel and Luz Valentin of New Britain, Tommy and Ivonne Valentin of Middletown, a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Juan Flecha of Middletown, one brother, two sisters, four grandchildren, Jazmin Ouellette and her husband Michael, Maranda and Geovanni Valentin, Elana Flecha, two great grandchildren, Maliya Ouellette and Freddie Martinez. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
