Michael J. Millard

Michael J. Millard, 39, of Newington, died unexpectedly on Friday as a result of injuries from a tragic motorcycle accident. Born in Ayer, MA, he was the beloved son of Joseph ''Joe'' and Carol Boncal Millard of Newington. He was employed at Century Pool Co. and was formerly employed at Rizzo Pool Co. He was a US Navy Veteran and was an avid fisherman, motorcyclist, and NASCAR fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Sharlene and Pete Page of Newington; his grandmother, Anna Boncal of Newington; a niece and two nephews, Vanessa, Sean, and Brian; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Bruce Fuller of Newington, Nelson and Linda Millard of North Carolina; and many beloved friends. Funeral services will be held Friday at 5:00 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Friends are invited to gather at The VFW Hall, 85 Kitts Ln. Newington following the service.
