Michael Charles Giancola, 62, of New Britain died peacefully Saturday, March 8 at Aurora Senior Living Center. Born October 30, 1951, he was the son of Rita Giancola and the late Alfred Giancola of New Britain. Michael graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in 1969. He earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration from CCSU. Michael had a 30+ year career in the health care industry. He worked for Hartford Hospital, Bradley Memorial Hospital, St. Mary Home, Fairfield Manor, and Elim Park Place. However, his favorite job was the time he spent as an esteemed limousine driver. He was a teacher, friend, and a loving father. Michael was pre-deceased by his brother Dino Giancola and his sister Debi Giancola. In addition to his mother Rita Giancola, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda-Marie and Jeramiah Nichisti of Terryville; his son and daughter-in-law David and Stacie Giancola of Bristol; his daughters Stephanie and Michelle Giancola of New Britain; his "adopted" daughter Amanda Brenkus of New Britain; his sister Janice (Giancola) Angel of Kensington; a brother Kevin Giancola of Canton; fiancee Helen Payette of Farmington; three grandchildren, Caleb, Maddox, and Isabella Nichisti; and many nieces and nephews.
