Michael E. Chambers

Michael Eugene Chambers, 63, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in Massena, NY, he was the son of the late Howard and Yvonne (Martin) Chambers.  Michael was a U.S. Marine Veteran.  He was employed as a home improvement contractor.

Surviving are six children, Michael Chambers Jr., Demi-Lee Marie Chambers, Amanda Chambers, Jennifer Chambers, Jesse Melanson, and Samantha Melanson; his companion, Annette Melanson; two sisters, Brenda Chambers and Susan Chambers Michaud; a brother, Lee Chambers; and three grandchildren, Zyrus, Aidan, and Oliver.

A memorial service and calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Military honors will follow at the funeral home.
