Melba Castro
Melba Castro, 32, of New Britain, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 4, 2016. Born in New Britain, she was a lifelong resident and was a member of St. Mary Church. She graduated from Mitchell College in New London, CT.
Surviving are her beloved daughter, Angelia Oliveras; her mother, Margarita Castro; the loving family that raised her, Rita and Alberto Saavedra; her brothers and sisters, Eligio, Jessica, Nicholas, Diana, Wilfredo, Alberto Jr., Carlos, Tina, and Anthony; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
