Mayra A. Castro

Mayra A. Castor, 57, of New London, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. She was born in Puerto Rico to the late Victor Manuel  Castro and Eleanor Minerva Cintron.

Mayra was a dedicated mother and amazing grandmother. She devoted her life to her family.

Mayra is survived by her two sons: Luis Joel  Colon and Ramon Luis Nevarez and his girlfriend Yarieliz Figueroa; two brothers: Jose and Joshua Castro; two sisters: Yasenia and Vivian Castro; five grandchildren: Yamaris, Arielis and Jasiel Nevarez, Janeliz Ramos and Luis Joel  Colon Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be held at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 6:30PM. Calling hours will be held prior from 5PM – 6:30PM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
