Rev. Maximino Aponte

Rev. Maximino Aponte, 68, of New Britain, Pastor of the Christian Pentecostal Church in New Britain, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 15, 2018.  He was the husband of Norma Aponte.

Born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Pablo Aponte and Regina Castro.  Rev. Aponte was a former resident of Worcester, MA and was a New Britain resident since 1987.  He was a dedicated and highly respected Pastor of the Christian Pentecostal Church in New Britain for 32 years where he gave tirelessly to his community and impacted many lives.  He was also a member of the Organization Pentecostal Christian Church, International.

Surviving are his wife, Norma (Marrero) Aponte; three children, Max J. Aponte and his wife Jenny of New Britain, Alvin Daniel Aponte and his wife Natalie Reilly of West Hartford; and Grisselle E. Aponte of New Britain; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Kristen, Max Jr., Emma and Aidan; and many brothers and sisters.
