Max A. Fenner, 65, of Plantsville, formerly of New Britain, died Sunday, August 19, 2007. He was the beloved husband of Claire Foley Fenner. Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Alexander and Augusta Fenner. Max served his country for four years in the U.S. Air Force and four years in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a machinist at New Britain Machine, Westinghouse of Windsor, and Conntech Products of Cheshire. Max was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Britain. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, J., M., and P. Fenner, William Fredericks and his wife Gretchen of Wolcott, three daughters Milinda Vinton and her husband D. Paul of Wolcott, Janet Palmese and her husband Paul of Columbus, OH, and C. Pisko, three sisters, Erma Fenner and Ella Wilson, both of New Britain, Elfrieda Wilson of Newington, his ten grandchildren, Leslin, Daniel and Laura Vinton, William and Patrick Fredericks, J. Husky, Courtney, Chuck, Adam, and Kaylie Fenner. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
