Mary Lisa Moore

Mary Lisa Moore, 42, of New Britain, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in Tupelo, MS, she was a New Britain resident for most of her life and was a member of McCullough Temple. She was a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School, Class of 1986 and was employed at Stop and Shop for the past 13 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and lotto scratch tickets. Mary Lisa had a giving heart and was always ready to help others. Surviving are her children, Byron Moore, Cassandra Bell, and Eddie F. Carter Jr.; her parents, John Arthur Moore and Jessie Bell Jones Moore; two brothers, Calvin Lee Jones and Dale Lee Moore; a sister, Gloria Bell Kubi; her companion of 18 years, Eddie Carter Sr.; her nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Miles, David, Zoe, Gabby, Corey and Taylor; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
