Mary Frances Larosa

Mary Frances LaRosa, 83, of New Britain, widow of Joseph LaRosa, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at Bel-Air Manor in Newington. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose DiGiovanni. She lived in New Britain most of her life. Mary was a woman of great faith. She was strong willed, had a great sense of humor, and always enjoyed a good laugh with others. She had a great love for her family. Surviving are her beloved daughter, Roseann Buchiere of New Britain; a sister, Anne Garcia and her husband Ernie of Providence, RI; her best friend, Peaches Viscone of West Hartford; and her good friends, her cats Isabella and Louie. In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by a son, Robert LaRosa. A period of visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
