Mary ''Marie'' D. Ciarcia Marino

Britain General Hospital. She was the widow of Peter Marino. Born in Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Angelina DeVivo Tolomea. She was a resident of Kensington most of her life and was formerly employed at Landers Frary & Clark. She was a member of St. Paul Church, the Ladies Guild at church, and was a former member of St. Anns Society. Surviving are her son, Carl Ciarcia of Kensington; a brother, Alphonse Tolomea of Simsbury; three grandchildren, Carl Ciarcia Jr., Steven Ciarcia and Cindi Ciarcia; three great-grandchildren, Coralee Ciarcia, Angelina Ciarcia and Carl Ciarcia III; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Tolomea. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 8:00 am at St. Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10021 or to New Britain General Hospital Dialysis Unit, 100 Grand St., New Britain, CT 06050 . Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
