Mary Beth Aparo

Mary Beth Aparo, 64, of Newington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 28, 2023 at home.

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Aparo and Delores Stella.  Mary was a Newington resident most of her life.  She loved spending time with her family and especially being a grandmother.

Surviving are her daughter, JoAnn Ricciardelli and her husband Geoff of East Hampton; a son, Wayne Embacher and his husband Dan Hosea; a brother, Chris Aparo; a sister, Maureen Debigare; and two grandchildren, Geoff and Mia; Mary was predeceased by a son, Erik Embacher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Ann Church of St. Joachim Parish in New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9-10 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
