Martha L. York

Martha L. York, 89, of New Britain, died Monday, July 7, 2003. Born in New Britain, she was a life long resident and attended local schools. She was formerly employed at Landers, Frary & Clarke and was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are four sisters, Lucille Lenzi, Gertrude Cullum, and Arlene ''Betty'' Raymond, all of New Britain; and Ruth Raleigh of Southington; a brother, Nicholas York of Vero Beach, FL; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at Fairview Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 295 Arch St., New Britain, CT 06051. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
