Marsha Lillian Figueroa

Marsha Lillian (Dubowsky) Figueroa daughter of Alexander and Martha Dubowsky passed away peacefully the morning of October 9, 2022 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT.  Marsha was born on August 21, 1950 in New Britain, CT and attended New Britain High School.

Marsha loved the outdoors and traveling. She had a green thumb when it came to gardening, and liked to spend time camping. She had a deep love for her family and can be described as the life of the party. She was there for her family whenever she was able, and was proud of all of her grandchildren. Marsha was also very stubborn and strong, fighting courageously until the end.

Marsha is survived by her longtime partner Ross Barett, and the father of her children Ramon Figueroa. She is also survived by her six children Lisa Pearlingi, Raymond Dubowsky, Jacqueline Dubowsky, Jennifer Figueroa, Aldo Figueroa, and Jessica Figueroa. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.  Special thanks to Jessica Figueroa for helping care for her during her finals days. Even though Marsha’s story has come to an end because of her; so many other stories are being written.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 14th from 4 - 6 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain.
