Marjorie Ann Lucas

Marjorie Ann Lucas, 87, of Bristol, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at Bristol Hospital. She was the widow of Henry Lucas. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late James Clifford and Margaret Hicks Price. Marjorie was a former New Britain resident before moving to Bristol 15 years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in New Britain. Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen A. Lucas Nordgren and her husband Lawrence of Bristol; two sons, James H. Lucas of Bristol and William T. Lucas and his wife Rosemarie of Burlington; six grandchildren, William T. Lucas Jr., Paul J. Lucas, Melissa A. Nordgren, David A. Nordgren, Sarah M. Hart and Jessica L. Nordgren; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
