Maritza Rodriguez
Maritza Rodriguez, 60, of New Britain, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. She was the widow of Hector Rodriguez.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Ramon Vega and Elaine Pagan. Maritza was a lifelong resident of New Britain and was formerly employed at Carabetta Management Company. She was a member of St. Mary Church.
Surviving are her son, Freddy Vasquez and his companion, Frances Jimenez of New Britain; her sisters, Luz Vega and Anita Vega; a brother, Angel Vega; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother and two sister, Jose Vega, Nitza Guttierrez, and Cindy Vega.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian at 10 AM at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.Past Services
