Marisol Santiago

Marisol Santiago, 44, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Salvatore Malone. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Maria Isabel Santiago. Marisol has been a New Britain resident for over 20 years coming from West Hartford. She worked for many years as a sales clerk at Kohl's department store. Marisol was a member of Turning Heart Ministries of East Hartford. In addition to her husband and mother, Marisol is survived by her son, Santos Daniel Santiago of New Britain, her three daughters; Maria Ginny Santiago Negron, Bianca Lopez and Kristin Santiago, all of New Britain, two brothers; Gilbert Velazquez and Manuel Santiago, two sisters Wilda and Lisette Santiago, her five grandchildren; Jose Manuel Negron, Jalen Star Negron, Jeremiah Ismael Negron, Javian B. Negron and Skyla Star Homar. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
