Marion Farr

Marion (Urban) Farr, 90, formerly of Berlin, widow of John Farr, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 19, 2017.

Born on May 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John Urban and Antoinette (Godlevska) Urban.  Marion was a former New Britain resident, moving to Berlin in 1956.  She was formerly employed in the accounting department at Stan Chem in Berlin before retiring.  Marion was a member of St. Paul Church.

Surviving are three children, John E. Farr Jr. of Rocky Hill, Maureen Sullivan Moir and her husband Francis of South Windsor, Thomas R. Farr and his wife Leslee of Kensington; five grandchildren, Kimberly West, Kelly Allan and her husband Robert, Patrick J. Sullivan Jr. and his wife Siobhan, Thomas Farr II and his wife Cara, Stephanie Gagnon and her husband Matthew; and twelve great-grandchildren, Alexandra Allan, who holds a special place in her great grandmother’s heart for all of her caring, loving and support of her, Luke Allan, Ryan West, Tyler West, Declan Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, Aidan Sullivan, Nolan Sullivan, Connor Farr, Brayden Farr, Abigail Farr, and Haylee Gagnon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at St. Paul Church, Kensington.  Burial will follow in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin.  A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning from 10–11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Memorial donations may be made to the East Berlin Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 41, East Berlin, CT  06023 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS  66675-8517.
