Maribel Velasquez

Maribel Velasquez, 54, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020.

She was born in San German, Puerto Rico. Maribel was a New Britain resident for 51 years and attended Stanley Memorial Fountain of Life Church.   She enjoyed worshipping and being in God’s presence.  She loved him with all her heart and soul.

Surviving are three sons, David Lee Rosario, Robert Hernandez Jr. and Julian Ray Reyes; her brother, Benjamin Villa Jr.; two sisters, Mirian Reyes and Marisol Wilk; a step sister, Blanca Villa; her grandson, Izek Robert Hernandez; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin Villa Sr. and Maria Velazquez, and by her brother, Marco Villa.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
