Marian Kevorkian

Marian Kevorkian, 83, of New Britain, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Crestfield Rehabilitation Center in Manchester. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late George and Haiganousch Kevorkian. Marian was a life-long New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Emhart Industries. She was an active member of St. Marks Episcopal Church. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Alice Kevorkian of New Britain; and her nieces and nephews, Hasmig Cannata and Richard Kevorkian, both of New Britain, Marie Gleason of Stafford Springs, and Stephan Jason of Manchester and several great nieces and nephews. Marian was predeceased by her brother Avedis H. Kevorkian and her sister Henrietta K. Jason. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
