Maria J. Tirado

Maria J. “Faita” Tirado, 58, of New Britain, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT.  Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, she was a New Britain resident most of her life and was a member of St. Mary Church.

Surviving are her mother, Josefina Cruz; a son, Miguel Rosado; her brothers and sisters, Nora Tirado, Maria E. Torres, Vilma Quinones, Neida Biagioni, Wilfredo Quinones, Ana Quinones, Wanda Quinones, Ernesto Vargas, Rafael Tirado, and Francisco Ramirez; two grandchildren, Jonovan and Darius; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Calling hours are Thursday from 7-9 PM.
