Maria Gulli

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Gulli, 79, on January 7, 2026. Maria was born on October 27, 1946 in Cardinale, Italy before settling in New Britain CT. Maria was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, known for her kindness and generosity.

Cooking was her love language. Her food was a gift she gave freely to anyone who walked through her door. No one ever left Maria’s house hungry, and no guest was ever “just a guest”- they were family.

Maria was an active member of the Sacred Heart Society and the Calabria Mia Society. She was also a parishioner of St. Ann Church.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Gulli; her son, Giovanni Gulli and his wife Tammy; and her grandson, Pietro Nicola Domenico Gulli; and predeceased by her son, Joseph Gulli. Her family and friends will always remember her for her unwavering loyalty, warm spirit, and the joy she brought into their lives.

Maria will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to have known her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 9:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Ann Church,101 North St., New Britain. Entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
