Maria Isabel Echevarria

Maria Isabel Echevarria, 66, of New Britain, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT surrounded by her loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Julio Torres and Emilia Claudio. She was former resident of New York and a New Britain resident since 1994.

Surviving are her loving children, Maria Torres, Luis Torres, Awilda Echevarria, and Jorge Echevarria, all of New Britain; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters.

Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Thursday (today) from 7-9 PM and Friday from 11 AM until 12 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
