Margarete Wydra

Margarete Wydra, 90, of New Britain, passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hans and Anna Weissmier. She was a New Britain resident for the past 60 years and was formerly employed at Peter Paul Electronics.

Surviving are two sons, John Wydra and his wife Connie of Colorado Springs, CO, Andrew Wydra and his wife Kathleen of New Britain; a daughter, Erika Turgeon of Plainville; her former son-in-law, Arnold Turgeon; a special cousin, Aniela Wdowiak of Plainville; six grandchildren, Michelle, Kimberly and her husband Steve, Tracie and her husband Tom, Kristen, and Michael and his wife Jan; six great-grandchildren, Sky, Jade, Dante, Ziggy, Chase, and Kaiden; and a great great-grandchild, Delilah.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 6 PM at Faith Bible Church, 168 Unionville Ave., Plainville, CT. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
