Margaret T. Poglitsch Woodstock, 91, formerly of New Britain, died Monday at Chestelm Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Moodus with her family by her side. She was the widow of Gordon Woodstock. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Johanna Prem Poglitsch. She lived in New Britain most of her life and was a member of South Church. Surviving are three sisters, Johanna Knaus of Southington, Helen Terwilleger of Moodus, and Eleanor Bujdos of New Britain; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was predeceased by two sisters, Steffie Wacker and Emma Halloran; and by three brothers, Carl Poglitsch, Edward Poglitsch, and Herman Poglitsch. The family would like to thank Chestelm Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care and kindness extended to the family. They would also like to thank VITAS Hospice Care for their support and care. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Recreation Department at Chestelm Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 534 Town St., Moodus, CT 06489.
