Margaret "Peg" Guilbault, 78, of New Britain passed away July 10th, 2013. She was born in 1934 in Abington, PA and spent most of her childhood in Philadelphia. She moved with her family in to Hartford, CT and later to Manchester CT where she graduated from Manchester High School. She met and married Robert Noack in 1954. Margaret & Robert had 3 children together. She worked for 9 years at the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co. She relocated later in life to Virginia Beach, VA. She liked being close to the beach and enjoyed hosting family vacations. In 2003 she moved back to Connecticut to be closer to her family. She made her residence in New Britain's Erwin Home. She volunteered regularly at neighboring Northend elementary school, in particular, helping out in the school's library. Peg also found a second home in the community of First Church of Christ Congregational in New Britain, where she was a very active member. Peg had a love of cross-stitch, knitting and crochet, and it was rare to find her very far from her needles. In addition to being an avid reader she was also an ardent movie fan, particularly of westerns. She was a fan of all things John Wayne. Peg will be remembered above all for her kindness and compassion, dedication to her community, and steadfast love & support of her family. She will be missed, but not forgotten. Peg is survived by two daughters; Lynn DelCegno of Plainville (husband Donald), Sue Thorp of West Hartford; and one son Brad Noack of Florida. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren Daniel DelCegno of Plainville, Jennifer DelCegno also of Plainville, and Erik Noack of Florida. She is pre-deceased by her former husband Robert Noack A Memorial service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at First Church of Christ, 830 Corbin Ave., New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Peg's name may be made to First Church of Christ, 830 Corbin Ave, New Britain, CT.
