Margaret C. (Skinner) Bellantuono, 95, of New Britain passed away peacefully on Friday at a local convalescent home. She was the beloved wife of Morris P. Bellantuono for 68 years.

Born in New Haven, Margaret was the daughter of the late Bernard and Betty (Olson) Skinner. She spent her younger years in Plainville moving to New Britain 45 years ago. Margaret’s kind spirit and care for others made this Earth a better place. She was a master story teller. Margaret loved to travel with Morris and enjoyed accompanying him on many of his business trips. The family would like to thank the staff of Cassena Care and Masonicare for the wonderful way they took care of Margaret.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Caroline Davis of New Britain whom Margaret had very close relationship and special bond with, her sister Betty Bartlett of Bristol, her grandchildren Lisa Davis, Melissa Devanney and her husband Michael, and her two great grandchildren, Noah and Madison Devanney.

Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a remembrance service at 7:00 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in West Cemetery, Plainville.
