Marcelina Ocasio

With heavy hearts we have lost Marcelina Ocasio on February 18, 2022.  She was a prominent member of St. Mary Church.

Marcelina is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Ocasio; two daughters, Carmen Ortiz and Lucy Homar; and one son, Jose Ocasio.  She is survived by her sister, Ana Ramos; her son, Nick Ocasio; and her daughters, Isabel Luna and Bernardine Lila Flores.  She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church in New Britain.  Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain.   A repass will take place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Luna, 28 Pershing Ave., New Britain, CT 06053 following the burial.
